Miss D has been enjoying the sunny weather. She loves to wander next door and play with our neighbors. I love that she is big enough now that she can be "trusted" to obey and make decisions with the kids next door (as well as a 2 year old can right). She loves to play with them... and I love that they are teaching her how to pretend and play without me right at her side. She also has been enjoying her pool. We can have conversations now.. and she will throw out an observation too... like "it's nice outside" or "what a nice day". She has started saying "what's that?" about things too... waiting for the answer so that she can store it away. Such a big girl. Today we spent the morning next door and K was having an egg... so guess who wanted an egg for lunch....miss D. So I fixed her an egg and toast just like K had. She ate it... and then she looks at me and says "like K does"... she has started to mimic and show off. We had friends over for dinner last night who had never been here and Miss D was so excited to show them her slide that she went down the slide and fell as she went down it... scraping her upper lip. Then we went inside and she was jumping in the den (now that I sold the futon she loves to play in that room because there is no furniture in there). So as she was jumping she landed on the ground.. almost like she thought that she was on her bed... she didn't cry but I could tell that she realized that was a bad idea.

been surfing around and stumbled on your blog. i see you are reading smith wigglesworth--i have been reading him too! isn't he just amazing? i also see that you have gone thru a really rough trial, i can relate. but i love how God uses those trials in our lives to bring us closer to him.
the Lord has taught me so many things about himself thru my own trials and continues to sharpen/sand/whittle my character to be made more like Christ.
