Me and My Girl on Mother's Day

Here is a pic that we had taken for Mother's day. We got some really good shots... our neighbor came out and did the photo honors. It was a bit windy, but we needed some pics for Mother's day gifts. So we dolled ourselves up and went out for some pics. (technically they were taken day before Mother's Day). Like her haircut....? Plus I got my bangs trimmed up again. Miss D let me take the round brush and blowdry her hair. It took like 5 minutes, but it looked so good right after. That wan't the case after the nap... but o well.

Miss D hurt her knee on Mother's Day.... she was playing with papa and her cousin and then she started crying. There wasn't a collision, so I wasn't even sure what happened to make her cry. Well once we got home and took her out of her carseat and put her down to walk... she crumbled into a pile. It was the first time that she had been hurt enough to make me worry. We gave her some motrin, prayed and put her to bed and then in the morning we would see how she was doing. Well she could barely put her weight on it... so a bit more motrin and a bit more praying and then as the day went on... she was able to walk better and put more weight on it. By the end of the day she was running and jumping just like nothing happened! Praise God for His healing POWER! No trip to the doctor! Now Mr. D needs some of the same healing. His neck is SO stiff. Please pray for the release of the muscles in his neck and for his neck to relax!
